| I have returned to BYOND after a short break for personal reasons.
Because Iain Peregrine has decided to name this get something done month, I suppose I shall "get something done." This is the news post for May. It will be updated as things "get done." I suppose I was just bored and wanted to make things humourous.
I'm a tad late, but here goes!
Goal - Epic Pokemon - Target - Duel Function
- Challenging - Complete - Prize Setup - Complete - Prize Setting - Complete - Opening Draw - Complete - Placing Basic Pokemon - Complete - Attaching Energy - Complete - Attack* - Knockout - Claim Prizes - Win
*Because coding every attack in a mere 2 weeks is a tad hefty, my only goal right now is to get a few functioning attacks to test it.
While I certainly want to get something done, I think a major factor in my previous leave was being overworked. I did too much coding, and then I had to re-do the entire project, lost my major will (because I worked on it for many hours). I needed a break. So now, as I code, I am limiting my coding to prevent overwork. I should be able to finish every thing on that list by June though.
I do want to point out I am NOT entering Iain's contest. For the main reason that even if I did, I would need to release the game in it's fullest to win. That's a lot of stress I would be put under, and frankly, I don't feel like it.
A hero is not one who never falls, but one who gets up, again and again, NEVER losing sight of one's dream!

| Goodluck! Cant wait to play. Ive been thinking the advantage of making an anime game is you wont really run short of players if the game play is half ok. So I too have continued coding Naruto - Sugoi! Being a pretty full on game to code, I'll set my sights on late July. Theres quite a lot done already, although I figure the Fine tuning and finishing things up will take quite a while. I do have another couple of team members to help me with code/icons. Getting stuff done F*** Yeah!

| nuuh. but i will make a new one too. all at 100% pOwaaar. It will be an rpg. Most likely futuristic and with similarities to AO.
So, I've figured.
Step one. Brainstorm for 949 hours. Step two. Write it out in extreme detail and with a todo list 344164 long and in order. Step three. Review everything and work our the kinks/balancing mathematicalz. Step four. Do it all in order, Step by step. Step five. Review my amazing awesome 100% game. Step Six. Repeat steps one to five and Better it to 110%. Step Seven. Do some kick ass advertising. and add subscriptions for in-game benefits. Step Eight. Hope it was worth the effort.
Now, this could end in. OMG I'll never have to work again for three weeks. until the game dies off and I get a kids pocket money in rewards each week.
OR. It could be a complete failure and all I will have is the satisfaction of sticking it out and completing a game where I gave it my all.
Peace.

| We have very different methods of creating games lolz Slice.
Mine is more like.
- Has an idea - Plans out the details - Makes it - QQs every time they screw up - Go read about QED or something else that nobody cares about - Have an idea on how to fix my game! - Implement it -- It doesn't work --- Go back to step 4 -- It works! - Beg Yurokei to make it pretty - Release game for free, because I never have any subscriber worthy games.
